Christmas Day 2018. We woke up bright and early to make the kids breakfast while we waited on my Mom and her husband to come over so the boys could open their gifts from Santa. We had just finished breakfast and we both were standing beside the Christmas tree when he asked me if he could go ahead and give me my gift then and of course I was excited to see what he had gotten me so I eagerly agreed. During that time I saw him coming back but at the same time of course my 1 year old was trying to get my attention so I turned my focus to him I dont remember seeing him get down on one knee at all until he got my attention and as I looked over I saw him on his knee with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen asking me to be his wife. I immediately cried and hugged him. I could barely talk I was in aww of the moment. When words finally seemed to form all I could say is "yes, a thousand times yes!' and that I couldnt wait to be his wife and that I loved him more than all the stars in the galaxies.
