Fiona is the best best friend in the world and I am so lucky that she is mine! You know how sometimes you just know that people are meant to be in your life? That's my Fiona. Or Fofo as she is known. Or Fi. Or Pina as I call her. Or Schmookims.

Anyway...We met on a plane (she may argue it was in the airport but these are minor details and the plane sounds more exciting!) on the way to America. By the time we got off the plane we knew we'd be friends for life. I look back now at the photos from the plane trip and it's crazy the selfies we were taking considering we had only just met!

We lived in the USA for two years and they were two of the greatest years of my life and I know there is no way they would have been the same without her. She is very laid back which is a good balance considering how crazy I can be at times. We've been besties for 7 years now and I couldnt imagine my life without her.

Kylie is one of the most beautiful people you will ever meet! She is so kind and caring and (thank God) organised!! Apparently I can be dramatic at times (I still don't know where everyone gets this from?) and in those rare occasions she is my voice of reason. We met in high school and bonded over dancing, but it wasn't until the summer after high school ended that we became very close.

When I moved to America for two years we stayed just as close and now we even live in the same street! Although our schedules keep us insanely busy, we usually talk at least once a day via text or email and it's good to know that we always have each other near by. 

This wedding would not be anywhere near as fun as it's going to be without Kylie! She has been absolutely amazing at researching information and helping with every little aspect! It has been greatly appreciated and I can't wait to have her in the Bahamas standing there with me on the day! 

Ashleigh is the kindest person I have ever met. She will literally drop what she is doing without a second thought if she thinks a friend needs her. I honestly can’t remember meeting her, but it feels like we have been friends since birth. People who know me know that I am terrible with names and Ashleigh and I actually became close when I thought I invited someone else to the organic farm at tambourine mountain … it turned out to not be the person I thought it was – it was Ashleigh! So we’re actually accidently friends! Haha! Best accident ever!

Ashleigh and I are basically the same person - we share so many common interests including fitness and healthy eating to grammar correction (srsly ppl lstn to ur techer). Ashleigh is my guilty pleasure - we share a very sick sense of humour.

Ashleigh made our engagement cake and will be making our wedding cake – she is an amazingly talented baker! Although Ashleigh won’t be physically there on the wedding day, she is playing a huge role in the planning of the day and will be there to celebrate when we come home :-)

Renee and I met in grade 8, but didn't become close until grade 12. Renee has an absolutely, ridiculously stupid sense of humour but I can say that because I have it too. Sometimes we will just crack up laughing at the silliest things and everyone will sit there looking at us going "What just happened?"

She is also a very fair person who has a very kind heart. When I moved to America for two years, we spoke on the phone about once a month and also kept in contact writing each other long emails about what was going on in our lives. Although it was really hard to be away from her for so long, it's good to know that we are friends for life and no amount of time or distance can separate us.

Renee won't be at the wedding in the Bahamas as she will be at home being mummy to my new little BFF Baby Nathaniel who joined us in November. Although she won't be there physically on the day, she will be at our party when we come home and I know we will think of each other on the day. :-)

Luke and I get on like a house on fire. We met at university and it wasn't until the 3rd and 4th year that we became good friends. We both have a fantastic passion for sport and could talk all day about the subject. 

We have a similar sense of humour and enjoy chilling out together whether it's camping, playing cricket, the movies or just kicking the footy around at the park. Amy and I travelled Europe for a month with Luke and his wife Kylie in June/July 2013. It was here we discovered Luke's absolutely paralysing fear of Haunted Houses. It was an epic adventure and one I will never forget.

One of the best things about Luke is that he has a big heart and is always finding ways to help you out when you need it. Our greatest moment together is when he asked me to play in his "A" grade cricket team under cover as a player called "gilly" and I took arguably the 2 best diving catches in the competition that year! A moment we will never forget and still laugh about today! 

Daniel and I have been friends since grade 8 in high school. We have enjoyed playing sport together through grade 8 - 10. 

Both of us are adventure junkies in that we like mountain biking, working out, playing TRL and completing adventure races like Tough Mudder. 

Daniel has an incredible work ethic and shares my passion for competition which makes us gel so well. It makes me want to work harder in all areas of my life to keep up with him :-)

Rodney has been my best friend since grade 8 in high school. Both of us went through from grade 8 - grade 12 as best friends. Even though I don't see him as much anymore, I still regard him as one of my best friends. 



We just have an awesome connection and we get along so easily. We can practically talk about anything! I never have to think about what to say when I'm around Rodney as our conversations when we catch up just flow until a couple of hours have passed. 

We both enjoyed playing a ton of sport together at school. Rodney is one awesome dude! I always know if I called him for anything, he'd have my back. He's someone I can always count on! I just wish he lived closer to us! 

Lance and I have been good friends since high school. He moved down from Rockhampton when we were in grade 10 and he was introduced to me at the time so that I could show him around and make him feel comfortable at the school. 

Lance is a really easy going, laid back kind of guy. We both share a passion for Smallville, Supernatuaral and Superman. We both enjoy hanging out and cracking a few jokes. 

We also share a passion with events such as Tough Mudder! All in all, Lance is a great friend and someone I really enjoy spending time with.

Lance won't be at the wedding in the Bahamas as he and his wife Renee have just welcomed their first child Nathaniel in November. I can't wait to celebrate with him at the reception when we get back.
