Bride

Joe & Michelle’s story begins a decade ago at Connetquot high school. They met through a mutual friend who had invited Joe to join them at their lunch table. Joe accepted and was introduced to Michelle for the first time. Right away the two became attached to each other as they quickly realized they had a very similar sense of humor. Michelle always wanted to make Joe feel included and after seeing a bird outside quickly said “Look a duck!” Joe looked only to see a seagull standing by the back door. They laughed together and from that moment on they knew they had a special connection. Michelle’s birthday was close to when they first met and Joe decided that, since he really liked Michelle, he would go and buy her a stuffed duck. It was a cute way for Joe to show Michelle he had a crush on her and acknowledge one of their very first jokes. As silly as that sounds it is one of the first moments that made them both realize they were a great match. They were attracted to each other from the very first time they saw each other from across the room, but that duck moment began to reveal just how compatible they really were.

After chatting for a few weeks Joe finally asked Michelle out on their very first date. Unfortunately the movie options were not incredible and the two ended up seeing the disaster movie “2012.” Despite the film choice, Joe and Michelle both laughed at specific parts of the movie realizing how similar their sense of humor really was. Afterwards they got some food at a nearby Chili’s and spent the night chatting, making jokes, and enjoying themselves. From that moment on the two loved hanging out together and have ever since. Despite part time jobs and college they have always found time to be together. Eventually they would both attend Stony Brook University and made plenty of memories attending festivals and sharing a class or two. They both work full time now and, for the last year, have been living together in a condo in Holbrook.

Over the last decade Joe and Michelle have traveled out of state to various parks, resorts, and casinos. They have visited aquariums, zoos, and seen dozens of movies. They love going out to eat and playing games together, but more than anything, they love spending time together. Joe and Michelle have built a relationship based on love, respect, and understanding. They look forward to celebrating their special love story with you and all their family and friends on their wedding day!
