Chris proposed to Taylor on the Friday night before St. Patrick's Day.  They were preparing to settle on a house at the end of the month, and decided to go out to look at furniture.  With her baseball hat and winter coat on, they set out to a few different furniture places.  As they were approaching Marley Station Mall, heading to another store, Chris asked Taylor if she wanted to stop at her favorite jewelry store - Littman's, to look at rings.  Taylor said no, we don't have to (she knew Chris just loved whenever she talked about getting engaged).  Chris insisted on pulling into the parking lot.  As he was pulling in he asked if she still loved "that one ring" that she picked out quite a few months ago.  Without hesitation Taylor quickly said "of course!".  She was obsessed with this ring!  Anyway, Chris parked his truck (all the way at the back of the parking lot, which Taylor was a bit concerned), and told Taylor to not get out yet.  She just thought he wanted to open the door for her.  Well, he did open the door for her....but more than that he asked her to marry him, with the ring of her dreams in his hand!!!  In absolute complete shock, Taylor said yes!!  Then, they went to the next furnutire store....although it was a bit hard to focus on looking at furniture when there was now something to look at on her left hand!  The store did make for great ring pictures though - I mean the lighting was great!

Taylor wouldn't have wanted it to be any different!  It was such a perfect night!
