I know he wanted to take me up to Pine Valley during the winter to see the frozen lake and possibly fish but little did I know he was planning on asking me to be his wife there! We got up early and I could tell Garrett was acting weird. Something was up. Not to mention my friend mentioned catching a keeper to me at dinner the night before. As we walked up to the lake, he took me on a trail and kept saying he loved me a lot. As we got to a point in the trail, I saw pictures of us hung between trees with balloons that said "Yay!". Then I started to piece everything together after seeing the pictures and what I thought was a nature photographer who captured our special moment! Garrett got down on his knee and popped the question. It all was a blur. The craziest part is that he planned for my parents to be there! It was unreal and the best day of my life!

I was freaking out when Aryn's dad was ignoring my text message to him earlier that fall. I needed to call and ask if I could marry Aryn. After two nervewracking hours, I got his blessing. I know how important family is to Aryn so I wanted them to be at the proposal. I planned it out to have her and my parents there. As the days got closer, I anxiously waited for the ring to be delivered to my house. My sister also helped a lot when it came to the videographer/ photographer. The day finally came and I took Aryn up to Pine Valley. I was so nervous walking with her on the trail. I could not remember where the spot was where I would propose. I was so clumshy and fell on ice because a flood of emotions was going through my mind. I held her close and then got down on my knee. She said yes! I will never forget that day.
