Jake and my mom planned a complete suprise engagement! I thought my mom and I had been planning family photos when all along the joke was on me! We spent an hour taking family photos and I still have no clue what was about to happen. The photographer was seating everyone so she could get in one last family shot in this perfect lighting as she called it and Jake kept holding my hand saying hold on we will sit down last. Again I have no clue I keep trying to sit with the family for our picture! Jake takes both my hand and starts taklking to me, I have no clue what he said because in an instant he was down on one knee! I thought he was kidding! Again we have been together 6 years who ever thought he could pull this off with out me having any idea! Not me thats for sure! I was so taken back and filled with excitement! He then gets my mom's ring from my dad and placed it on my finger! I was so over come with emotion! Here the man of my dreams has just asked me to marry him and of all things he puts my moms ring on my finger! Her ring was also the ring my late grandfather had given to my grandmother! It means so much me!
