So this is how the story began.

       It was my first day of EMT class at Bevill State in Sumiton, AL. I was already super nervous and excited because this was a huge step in me becoming a full time paid firefighter. I got to class early and sat on the front row right in front of the podium because im a bit of a nerd and also want to make sure I hear everything the instructor was saying. I was busy flipping through my book and getting my stuff ready for when the instructor began teaching and in walked this super tall and super handsome guy. I immediately thought he was gorgeous but at the time school was more important than a relationship and I also was way too nervous to even try. Well that whole semester we became friends and talked here and there. I didnt think I stood a chance with him so I admired him silently and kept my crush a secret. Well a secret from him at least because all my girlfriends already knew he was all I would talk about. We stayed in contact and ended up working at the same place for a short period of time at RPS and eventually I decided to take a full time position with a fire dept instead so I left. Fast forward a few years on my 29th birthday he messaged me and asked me if he could take me out to dinner. At first I said yes I would love to but then I backed out because I was terrified I mean how many times in life does the girl actually get the guy shes always had a crush on? Next to never. Well a month went by and he was still on my mind and while at church one day the sermon was about Gods blessings and how we block them by never givinig them a chance out of fear of the unknown. Well needless to say that hit home. That day I messaged him back and asked if he still wanted to get dinner and explained everything and thankfully he understood and a week later we finallt went on our first date. It was the best! We talked and laughed for hours and hours without a care in the world like two best friends. And that was the start of our beginning little did I know a year later we would be getting married and have had a little baby boy to add to our family. God is truly amazing. Adam is everything I ever prayed for. I prayed for him before I ever knew him and I knew and trusted God would send to me in his time not mine. And God blessed me more than I could have ever dreamed possible when he placed Adam in my life. He truly is my dream come true and my happy ever after!
