Melissa & Michael were good friends in high school. Carver High School days were spent with Melissa stealing french fires from Michael's lunch, hanging out in the basement of his parents house, a few hockey games, soceer games, and shared dances at homecomings and proms. Michael graduated in 1994 and headed off to Umass Lowell and Melissa graduated the following year and commuted to Bridgewater State College. With promise to remain friends time slipped away and Melissa & Michael lost touch. Over the years, both Melissa & Michael will admit that they thought of each other and wondered about the other. Through the power of facebook, Melissa and Michael rekindled their friendship through witty posts and facebook chats.

Late in the summer of 2009, Melissa and Michael bumped into each other in the parking lot of Shaws (actually they bumped into each other twice that day - but who is counting). Melissa was headed to a cookout and Michael off to Disney (surprise, surprise). The following week, Michael showed up at Melissa's house when she needed a friend the most. From there Melissa and Michael picked up their friendship where it had left off - with lots of laughs and inside jokes. 

Life happens, as it has a tendency to do, and after rekindling a friendship during many late nights watching the Red Sox (sometimes Sox in 2) a good night kiss happened. Melissa and Michael agreed that a kiss would either be really amazing or really awkward. Thankfully it was really amazing. 

Since "the kiss", Melissa & Michael have agreed that the best relationship is built on a friendship and they are truly best friends. While they simply enjoy spending time to togeter, they realy enjoy spending it with their 4 kids, traveling, watching sports, and ballroom dancing (yeah, you read that correctly. It was a Valentine's Day present from Michael to Melissa and he ended up loving it).
